KoolSpan, Inc. Awarded "DEMOgod" Distinction at 2005 DEMO Conference

Prestigious Conference Known for Launching Technologies Such as Palm, TIVO, JAVA Names KoolSpan as a Top 10 Demonstrator of Revolutionary New Technology

BETHESDA, Md.--February 17, 2005 KoolSpan, Inc., the developer of a Smart Card-based network security system, was presented with the DEMOgod award at DEMO (www.demo.com), the showcase for the world's most promising new and revolutionary technologies at the conclusion of the show Tuesday in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year, 74 new technologies were demonstrated at the show, with each company given six minutes to wow the crowd. In an onstage demonstration, Tony Fascenda, CEO of KoolSpan, demonstrated four 3rd-party applications transformed by KoolSpan technology. Without any modification to the 3rd-party application itself, each became secure and accessible from anywhere. KoolSpan can be integrated into a VoIP solution, consumer electronics, a voting machine, a laptop, a PDA, a network switch - any product that makes a connection across a network.

10 DEMOgod awards were given at the 2005 DEMO@15! show, the 15th year of the invitation-only conference which attracts tech industry luminaries looking for the next big thing in tech.
